Ahoy, me hearties, it'll soon be Talk Like a Pirate Day! One of our most popular parody holidays, celebrated each year on September 19th, is a fun one to share with silly phrases and funny memes, and perfectly themed t-shirts! Here we've found some mashups that take elements and pirates in perfectly blended designs. Find your favorite pirate-themed top to wear on this silly, frivolous, merry-making day. Aargh!
We've highlighted two takes on the mashup. The word Pirate can be spelled out using actual elements: Phosphorus (P); Iodine (I); Radium (Ra); and Tellurium (Te). Designs use the letters to spell out the word along with graphic pirate elements. The other design style simply uses a phrase pirates are known to say: Ar (Argon)! Both are fun takes on the mashup style.
